AATF Certificate
Authorised Approved Treatment Facility (AATF) is a waste treatment site that has been approval to carry out the refurbishment or treatment of WEEE. In addition to the recycling of materials, it allows Relove Technology to produce official evidence for WEEE recycled on-site and assists producers to satisfy their obligations under the WEEE Directive.
EEE Producer
A company is a ‘producer’ of Electrical and Electronic Equipment (EEE) if they manufacture, import or re-sell EEE. Relove Technology is classified as a producer of materials that are re-marketed after recycling, and registered with a compliance scheme to ensure we take responsibility for financing the treatment and recycling of materials.
Pre-consent TFS Approval
Due to strict legislation on waste movement, overseas cellular companies face challenges recycling materials, as exports to the UK require a Transfrontier Shipment (TFS) Notification, which can take up to six months. With Pre-consent approval, Relove Technology secures a TFS Notification for customers within seven days.

ISO 14001 is the international standard that specifies requirements for an effective Environmental Management System (EMS). By adopting an effective EMS it allows Relove Technology to reduce its environmental footprint and further demonstrate its commitment to protecting the environment.

ISO 27001 (formally known as ISO/IEC 27001:2005) is a specification for an Information Security Management System (ISMS). An ISMS is a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information including people, processes and IT systems by applying a risk management process so it remains secure.
Hazardous waste producer
Since the introduction of the Hazardous Waste Regulations 2005, any company who produces hazardous waste must register with the Environment Agency. This registration ensures that Relove Technology are legislatively compliant and able to satisfy any potential liability of our customers.
T11 Waste exemption
Relove Technology’s T11 exemption allows us to repair, refurbish or dismantle various types of WEEE so that the whole WEEE item or any parts can be reused for their original purpose or recovered – reducing the amount of electrical equipment ending up in landfill.
UK Carrier / Broker Certificate
Any person or company that carries waste as part of a commercial activity is required to register as a Waste Carrier. In addition, those who wish to arrange a third party carrier to collect waste on their behalf must register as a Waste Broker. Holding both certifications ensures legislative compliance with all movements of waste.
